What it means
#1
UVerse 1:

It's time to surrender, it's time to let go/
It's time I remember, what I already know/
That Jesus you love me, when I am weak/
And God you can see me, down on my knees/

Chorus:

And just because I know You are who You say You are/
Doesn't mean I won't struggle, doesn't mean I won't have scars/
What it means is You're in the fire, what it means is you're in the flood/
What it means is there will be trouble, but You have overcome

Verse 2:

It's time to stop trying, to fix myself/
It's time to stop waiting, on everybody else/
It's a battle I'm learning, that you fight for me/
It's hard to remember that You've made me free/

Chorus:

And just because I know, You are who You say You are/
Doesn't mean I won't struggle, doesn't mean I won't have scars/
What it means is you're in the fire, what it means is you're in the flood/
What it means is there will be trouble, but you have overcome

Bridge:
You've overcome my doubt and shame/
The fear that I could never change/
My constant need for perfection/
And the ache of rejection/
Jesus, You have overcome/

End:
So here I am trusting, that I'm not alone/
Here I am believing what I already know/

Nice write, I think you could take this one a little further by adding a lyrical bridge.  Like the imagery of vulnerability and surrender that comes through.  -- Peter
