We Need A Miracle
#1
We Need A Miracle

Verse 1

Lord, I'm so grateful
You're allowing me to see
Part of Your plans
While I'm asleep in my dreams
You're showing me the one
That You need to see
Who's down and out
Desperately in need

Pre-Chorus

If it is in Your will
While he's lying still
Lord please
Let Your healing start
Mend his weary head
Give him back Your breathe
Lord please
Heal his broken heart

Chorus

We need a miracle
Right now
Lord, let Your healing rain
Fall down
We need healing hands
To touch this man
Lord, our hearts are crying out
We need a miracle
Right now

Verse 2

Lord, I'm so grateful
You brought me here to see
An unending love
For this man next to me
I know it wasn't chance
I'm standing by his side
Praying Please God
Open up his eyes

Pre-Chorus

Chorus

Bridge

Where two or three are gathered
In Your name, You're here with us
Right now Lord we need to see
Your resurrecting love
Our hearts are crying out
For a miracle right now

Chorus

I can imagine hearing this on country radio- not sure what style it is. Great theme as miracles do still happen. I do have a small issue with the first line of the pre-chours. "If it is in your will." I believe that God's will is always to heal, it often just relies on either our faith or the way he goes about healing. But I like the song.

This is a true story about two different men that God brought me to. One was contiplating death and needed a miracle and the other was on life support and needed a miracle. I witnessed a miracle from God in/through both men. First man got saved and accepted the gift of the Holy Spirit while he was lying down. The second man started to breathe on his own after being prayed on by friends and family. Both times I was present and both happened on same day. So this song is about my prayer to God as I asked Him if it was in His will heal both of these men. Don't articulate words that well. I hope this explains it for ya. Thanks
