Lady Wisdom

Okay...you have had to endure my critiques, so now it's your turn to have a go at one of my recent ones. Music is in my head. This is a rock number.

Vs 1
She walks alone, she walks alone
She walks alone through city streets
She searches low, she searches high
She looks for someone who will hear her cry
Whoa oh oh, Whoa oh oh

Chorus
Her name is wisdom, lady wisdom
She shouts but no one, no one listens
Open your ears she says, I’ll share my story
Open your hearts, you’ll know my glory
Hold me tight, I am your life

Vs 2
She walks alone, she walks alone
She walks alone through barren waste
Her hair is white, her robe is gold
She looks for knowledge but the trail is cold
Whoa oh oh, Whoa oh oh

Chorus

Bridge
Dead ones walking (x3)

Chorus

I like the subject very much. In my head for whatever reason it flips over and turns into some flavor of blues. IE if you wanted a not completely traditional blues (one that didn't insist on repeating the first line three times) something like:

CHORUS
A OH She walks alone, she walks alone
A OH She walks alone, she walks alone
Searching low and searching high
looking for someone who will heed her cry

and then

VERSE 1
Her name is wisdom, lady wisdom
She shouts but no one, no one listens
... etc.

Its your song man, its just what it the lines did to me. Dead One walking - I hear a really cool break/solo with that part.

Thanks bro. Interesting how certain words can generate music in our heads, or images. That's what it's about though isn't it -- transporting our listeners. Thanks for taking the time. I'll ponder your words.

Best,
A
